After installing Office 2007 Service Pack 2, I go the 'another software has replaced...blah blah "error that prevented lookout from loading. I thought, oh, well, another company swallowed by Microsoft, might as well install the Microsoft Search and deal with it. But then in true Microsoft fashion, that wouldn't install either :O... I now did the two step procedure above, downloading and overwriting the lookout DLL's with patched versions, and everything works well.
